After talking to my nephew who has just came back from his most daunting task in his young life, attending National Service after his secondary education, it had prompted me to share this life's educational piece. I extracted this from Khaled Hosseini's book, "The Kite Runner".....
Only One Sin
There is only one sin
and that is THEFT!
Every other sin is a variation of theft
When you kill a man, you steal a life.
You steal his wife's right to a husband,
rob his children of a father.
When you tell a lie, you steal someone's right to the truth.
When you cheat, you steal the right to fairness.
There is no act more wretched than stealing,
a man who takes what is not his to take,
be it a life or a loaf of naan.
Theft was the one unforgivable sin,
the common denominator of all sin!!
